Sterile adhesive hydrocolloid dressing consisting of: A polyamide layer, the backing, which assumes the interface between the dressing and the external medium, and the adhesive mass containing natural and synthetic polymers:
a) natural polymers such as sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, gelatine and pectin, form the hydrophilic particles and are dispersed in an elastomeric network.
b) Synthetic polymers, the main one being polyisobutylene, which is a hydrophobic component responsible for the adhesiveness of the plaque to the skin.

Directions for Use: 1. Cleanse the affected area thoroughly with mild soap and water. Ensure the area is completely dry before applying the dressing.
2. Open the sachet and carefully remove one Urgo Algoplaque Wipe.
3. Peel off the protective backing from the wipe.
4. Gently apply the adhesive side of the wipe directly onto the clean, dry wound.
5. Smooth down the edges of the wipe to ensure proper adhesion.
6. The dressing can be left in place for several days, depending on the wound's condition and exudate level. It will typically detach itself when ready to be changed.


Recommended Frequency: Change the dressing when it begins to detach itself or as needed, typically every 2-3 days or if it becomes saturated with exudate. Do not force removal.


Additional Tips: For optimal results, ensure the wound area is clean and dry before application.
Do not cut the wipe.
If the wipe does not adhere properly, ensure the skin is completely dry and free from oils or lotions.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach of children.
