If necessary, overlap strips of tape to create a larger covering, ensuring each strip overlaps the previous one by approximately half its width.
Recommended Frequency: Change the tape as needed, typically every 1-3 days or when the adhesive begins to lose its effectiveness. Monitor the skin for any signs of irritation or maceration. If the tape is being used to secure a dressing, change the dressing according to the instructions for the specific dressing type.
Additional Tips: For optimal adhesion, ensure the skin is completely dry before applying the tape.
Avoid stretching the tape during application, as this can reduce its effectiveness and potentially cause skin irritation.
