Ingredients
The hyperoxygenated fatty acids that make up its formulation, obtained by a particular hyperoxygenation process: promote the renewal of epidermal cells, improving the skin's resistance and facilitating healing; restore the hydrolipidic film, preventing skin dehydration; create an antimicrobial barrier that protects the ulcerated area from external agents and improves blood microcirculation; prevent damage caused by an increase in free radicals, thanks to its antioxidant activity
Instructions for use
-Prevention and Treatment of Stage I Pressure Ulcers: After having carried out the usual cleaning treatments, apply Mepentol 2 or 3 times a day, on the areas at risk or affected by the ulcer, spreading the product with the fingertips. For this operation, the use of gloves is recommended.
-Treatment of Stage II Pressure Ulcers: After carrying out the usual cleansing treatments, apply Mepentol directly to the ulcer, or spray it onto a sterile gauze, which is then applied to the ulcer. Cover the ulcer with an appropriate bandage. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times a day until complete healing. The use of gloves is recommended for this operation.
