Directions for Use:
1. Cleanse the wound: Thoroughly clean the wound and surrounding skin with a suitable antiseptic solution. Ensure the area is dry before applying the dressing.
2. Prepare the dressing: Carefully remove the protective backing from the Hartmann Cosmopor Silicone dressing, avoiding touching the adhesive side.
3. Apply the dressing: Gently place the adhesive side of the dressing over the wound, ensuring it covers the entire wound area and extends onto the surrounding healthy skin. Smooth out any wrinkles or air bubbles.
4. Secure the edges: Press firmly around the edges of the dressing to ensure a secure seal.
Recommended Frequency:
Hartmann Cosmopor Silicone dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days, depending on the condition of the wound and the amount of exudate. Change the dressing if it becomes saturated, soiled, or starts to peel away from the skin. Consult with a healthcare professional for specific guidance on dressing change frequency.
