Glucoject Pen Needles are single-use needles used with injection pens to deliver insulin into the body. The components are a hollow needle covered with an inner sheath, covered by the outer sheath and the cap that seals the assembly to maintain sterility. Use Remove the seal from the insulin pen needle. Insert the needle into the pen and screw it in until it locks into place. Then remove the outer protective cap and keep it, as you will need it later to remove the needle from the pen. Remove the inner protective cap. Adjust your insulin dose. Check the flow by releasing a dose into the air. A drop of liquid should appear at the tip of the needle. Perform the injection. Attach the outer protective cap and remove the needle from the pen.

Instructions for Use:


1. Remove the seal from the Glucoject pen needle.
2. Carefully insert the needle onto your insulin pen and screw it in until it is securely locked.
3. Remove the outer protective cap and retain it for later use to safely remove the needle from the pen.
4. Remove the inner protective cap.
5. Dial your prescribed insulin dose on the pen.
6. Perform an air shot to prime the needle and ensure proper insulin flow. A small drop of insulin should appear at the needle tip.
7. Administer the injection according to your healthcare provider's instructions. 8. After injection, immediately recap the needle using the outer protective cap.
9. Carefully unscrew and remove the needle from the insulin pen. Dispose of the used needle safely in a sharps container.


Recommended Frequency:


Glucoject pen needles are designed for single use only. Never reuse a needle. Replace the needle after each injection to minimize pain, prevent lipohypertrophy (fatty lumps under the skin), and ensure accurate insulin delivery.
