Directions for Use: 1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly. 2. Choose a clean and dry puncture site on your fingertip. Avoid the center of the fingertip and areas with calluses or scars. 3. Remove the protective cap from the Softclix lancing device. 4. Firmly press the lancing device against the chosen puncture site. 5. Press the release button to activate the lancet. 6. Gently massage the fingertip to obtain a sufficient blood drop. 7. Apply the blood drop to your blood glucose test strip as directed by your meter's instructions. 8. Replace the protective cap on the lancing device. 9. Dispose of the used lancet safely in a sharps container.
Recommended Frequency: Use a new lancet for each blood glucose test. Do not reuse lancets.
Additional Tips: Adjusting the penetration depth: The Softclix lancing device may have adjustable penetration depth settings. Choose a setting that provides a sufficient blood sample with minimal discomfort. Rotating puncture sites: Rotate your fingertip puncture sites to avoid soreness and skin irritation.
