Insert the needle into the solution container and slowly draw the plunger back to the desired volume. 6. Remove any air bubbles by gently tapping the syringe and pushing the plunger slightly. 7. For injecting: Clean the injection site with an appropriate antiseptic. 8. Insert the needle into the injection site at the correct angle and depth as directed by a healthcare professional. 9. Slowly depress the plunger to inject the solution. 10. Withdraw the needle and apply pressure to the injection site with a sterile gauze pad. 11. Dispose of the used syringe and needle immediately in a sharps container.
