Directions for Use: 1. Clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin thoroughly. 2. Ensure the wound edges are clean and neatly aligned. 3. Peel a strip from the backing paper, holding it by the ends. 4. Apply the strip across the wound, starting at the center and smoothing it outwards towards the edges. Do not stretch the strip. 5. Apply additional strips parallel to the first one, overlapping the edges of the previous strip by approximately half its width. 6. Ensure the wound is fully closed and the strips are securely adhered to the skin.
Recommended Frequency: Leave the strips in place until they begin to peel off naturally, typically 5-7 days. Do not attempt to remove them prematurely, as this may reopen the wound. If the strips become wet or soiled, they may need to be replaced sooner.
Additional Tips: For optimal results, avoid applying lotions, creams, or ointments directly to the wound area before or after applying the strips. Do not use these strips on deep or infected wounds, animal bites, or puncture wounds. Consult a healthcare professional if the wound shows signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, pain, or pus. Keep the wound area dry. Avoid excessive stretching or movement of the affected area. These strips are for single use only.
